Innovating with Texture

By focusing on closing the gap between natural rattan or wood and resin, we have created more sustainable, durable, and functional products without losing any design aesthetics. For example, our Pacific Cool Bar is made to look and feel like rattan. While our Cortina Shed, made with our patented EvoTech™ technology, looks and feels like wood.

Resin continues to be a sustainable, durable, and minimal upkeep alternative to natural rattan or wood. With cutting-edge technologies, we continue to innovate texture with sustainability in mind.

Innovating with Technology

We utilize cutting-edge technology with four international research and development centers to create what's new and next. As seen through our Artisan and Cortina line of products, two unique technologies that make resin look and feel like natural wood are DuoTech™ and EvoTech™.

DuoTech™ is a patented technology created from extruded material that applies a brushing technique to achieve the look and feel of wood. As an evolution from DuoTech™, we've created EvoTech™, a co-extrusion process with two layers. The exterior layer provides the rich wood look, while the interior layer provides the structural stability necessary for outdoor products.

Innovating Sustainably

Sustainability isn’t a new initiative for us. It’s part of our philosophy and who we are. Our mission is to minimize the use of virgin resources and eliminate waste at each value chain stage.

We're committed to taking care of the planet and advancing a circular economy, so we focus on developing products from recycled materials, some of which are made of up to 100% recycled material. Throughout 2021, we used over 160,000 tons of recycled material - that's 5 times the Statue of Liberty's Weight!
