Making Communities Greener Through Connection & Education

Keter Green Spaces is our latest campaign that aims to make our communities greener through connection and education. Sustainability goes beyond just our products as we seek to combat climate change via hands-on community involvement and celebrating those who are working towards creating a greener future.

Teaming up with the Education Fund and their Food Forests program, our program launched during Teacher Appreciation Week on May 2nd at North Miami Elementary.

We rolled up our sleeves, put on our Keter aprons, and dug right in – literally. We worked collectively with the teachers and eager students to learn how to properly plant and determine what it takes for each of the seeds to grow. Our goal is to create an immersive outdoor classroom where students can watch the plants go from tiny seedlings to full bloom while also learning how important it is to care for our environment. This community garden is complete with everything the school will need including Keter’s garden beds, outdoor seating, and more.

Through our work with The Education Fund and the Food Forest for Schools program, Keter Green Spaces is centered on early childhood education and teaching teach children how their food is grown, inspiring a new generation of environmentally aware people that can change the world.
